Komi gets all dressed and ready for school, but when she opens the door, she is greeted by a typhoon. She decides to stay home and wait it out.

It's just a typhoon.

Komi dutifully prepares herself for school and appears psyched to do so, but the moment she opens the door to go outside, she's hit with the realization that a massive storm has hit her area. Back inside her house, Komi dries herself off and her mother informs her that school has been cancelled due to the storm. Komi is excited at the day off, but also disappointed because she was really wanting to go. Komi spends her time watching the rain from her window, but her intrigue quickly turns to terror when lightning strikes, cutting off the power in Komi’s neighborhood. The frightened Komi cuddles under a blanket with Shuuko, only for Shuuko to leave to check on the circuit breaker. At that moment, Tadano calls to check up on her after seeing on the news that her part of the area had a blackout. Komi reassures Tadano that she is fine despite clearly not sounding fine, but is noticeably talking way more clearly than she usually does. Komi asks Tadano to stay on the line to comfort her and he agrees, both unaware of Shuuko bashfully watching from the other room.

The storm ends by the afternoon, and everyone returns to school. While there, Yamai starts feeling depressed not because school was back in session, but because she wants a glimpse at Komi's panties, which Tadano picks up and is irked by. Yamai quickly devises a plan to have everyone play in the puddles outside the school and get a glimpse of them via the puddles’ reflection. She invites everyone to go play in the puddles, and Komi obliviously accepts the proposal much to the horror of Tadano. Outside, with Tadano, Agari, Najimi, and Komi, Yamai debates how to get a picture of Komi’s panties while Tadano contemplates stopping her. This is briefly disturbed by Najimi running through the puddles, so she intimidates them into stopping. Later, a strong gale hits them, and Yamai hopes that this will instead reveal her panties; however, Komi quickly covers her up, and instead Yamai ends up seeing Agari's. Left with “desperate measures”, Yamai slides onto the puddles and tries to take a photo up Komi’s skirt; however, mud smears onto the camera lens, ruining the shot. As Yamai is left defeated and Komi remains oblivious to the whole situation, Najimi points out a rainbow. Komi looks at the rainbow in wonder, and seeing this, Yamai is content at her expression. However, she’s back on wanting to see Komi’s underwear two days later.

Afterschool, in their classroom, Chiarai asks Shinobino and Sonoda which girl in class they would date. They take the matter very seriously, gathering around each other and, rather than just saying who they like, come up with elaborate scenarios on what a relationship with each girl would like (all of which are followed by the disclaimer that these relationships would never actually happen). Unbeknownst to them, Tadano is also in the classroom and overhearing them.

Chiarai first goes with Najimi, and in the scenario the two of them go to an amusement park. While eating ice cream, Najimi steals a bite of Chiarai’s ice cream, and the camera hyper focuses on Najimi while the cream off of their sexualized lips. The other two guys note how it is like being friends with Najimi, but Tadano notes that Najimi would just choose to be a guy to avoid the situation. Chiarai goes again, this time with Agari, and in the scenario meets with her in a mall. Agari arrives late due to stressing over what to wear, but Chiarai brushes this off. He then compliments her outfit, which highlights her chest, and she says she thought he would like it. As Chiarai ends up turning himself on, the other two are enthralled by her putting herself out there (with her boobs), while Tadano is disgusted by them. Sonoda goes next, imagining a scenario where he and Yamai are rich adults. Notably, Yamai is depicted as an uptight tsundere who constantly belittles Sonoda. In order to cheer her up, Sonoda buys her some earrings, which she initially insults, but puts on anyways. She then asks if they can leave to go have sex. The other two find this great, but Tadano is horrified that they don’t know Yamai’s real personality despite being in her clique. Sonoda next imagines a scenario with Nakanaka, where he is playing video games in her room. Seeing that he’s not doing it right, Nakanaka - who notably is not wearing an eyepatch and is wearing more-casual clothes - takes the control and helps him advance. Sonoda compliments her ability and they smile at each other. Chiarai and Shinobino are caught off guard by the sudden wholesome scenario, but find they enjoy it, and even Tadano says that that would be a good relationship. Shinobino goes next, imagining a scenario with Inaka. The scenario is far more elaborate, complete with a monologue, depicting him traveling to the countryside to meet with his sensei, and Inaka being the teacher’s neighbor. Inaka, shown as a farm girl, gives Shinobino some zucchini she harvested. In the real world, Shinobino mentions that he likes watching Inaka from a distance, and Tadano notes that the guys know about Inaka’s insecurity about being a country girl because of that. The next one Shinobino comes up with is with Yadano, with the scenario involving them leaving a convenience store on a cold night. In order to get home, Yadano challenges Shinobino to a race. Yadano wins the race and smiles happily at him. The other guys are again surprised at the wholesomeness of Shinobino’s scenarios, while Tadano questions why Yadano is depicted as playfully competitive rather than aggressively so.

The trio save the best for last: Komi. However, none of them are able to come up with anything as they have no clue as to how Komi actually acts. They spend several minutes thinking, and eventually become anguished at their inability to date Komi, while Tadano listens in chagrin. However, a scenario with Komi does eventually happen, except it’s Tadano who comes up with it. In the scenario, he and Komi are happily married and have just had dinner. Tadano washes the dishes (after beating her in rock paper scissors for the right to do so), but Komi decides to help him anyways. She then initiates physical contact with him via their shoulders. Before the scenario can proceed, Tadano in the real world slams his head on the desk repeatedly and screams to stop his thoughts, alerting the three guys to his presence. However, there is notably no disclaimer…

It's just a cat cafe.

Komi and her mom see a news story on TV promoting a cat cafe. She invites Najimi and Tadano, but the former is allergic to them and the latter is supposedly occupied. Instead, Tadano suggests that she invite someone else throwing out Onemine as an example. Though Komi appears hesitant, Onemine herself stops by and Komi eventually asks her, and she accepts. Otori also joins them, and they arrive there after school. Otori proves to be super popular with the cats, but Komi’s blank expression is misinterpreted by the cats as intimidation, and none of them choose to come to Komi. all play with the cats at the Neko Cafe Gateau, except Komi as the cats are afraid of her. This makes Komi super envious of Otori, who is obliviously surrounded by cats. In an attempt to help her, Onemine suggests that Komi try petting the sleeping cat, but Komi is too afraid to disturb its sleep. The alpha cat of the cafe, Chocolat goes on an inner monologue about the people that visit the cafe, expressing her discontent that humans constantly want to pet the cats without the cats’ consideration, and never lets any human pet them. She’s interrupted by another cat that warns her of Komi. Although Komi is also tempted to pet Chocolat, as she loves black cats, she still does not go for it. Depressed at not being able to pet any cats, Komi sits in a corner. Eventually taking pity on her, Chocolat decides to approach Komi, and sits in her lap. The pet store owners notice this and tell Komi that Chocolat does not usually approach other humans, and Chocolat becomes Komi’s fourteenth friend. Onemine takes a picture of Komi holding Chocolat and sends it to Tadano who regrets not going. It is revealed that Tadano did not actually have plans, but simply wanted Komi to invite people other than him and Najimi, and now feels left out. On top of that, he debates whether or not to use the photo as his wallpaper.

It's just the 'I love you game'.

One day after school, Yamai introduces a game she dubs the “I love you” game. Each person tells another that they love her, and if either of the two people get flustered, they are eliminated. Of course, as Tadano clearly sees, this is simply a ruse for Yamai to tell Komi she loves her, and also to get Komi to confess back. Yamai initiates the game, but Komi - partially due to her confusion and also trying to win the game - continues giving a blank expression. When it is Komi’s turn though, Yamai fantasizes about Komi confessing and smiles giddily, eliminating herself. Before they can start again, Najimi arrives. They feign not having heard anything, even as Yamai tries to get them to leave, but then tell Komi they love her; this surprises Komi, causing Najimi to “win”. Tadano, however, points out (when Najimi demands he judge) that Komi was startled rather than flustered, so she didn’t lose. As the game really starts going, Yamai and Najimi each confess again, but Komi - now fully invested - remains unfazed. Realizing the only way to beat her is to actually go for her feelings, Najimi has Tadano do it. Both Komi and Tadano quickly try to get out of it, but Najimi (while holding back Yamai) points out that trying to avoid it would be treated as an actual confession. Tadano reluctantly decides to go through with it under this pretense, but gets flustered in the middle of saying it and is eliminated. Najimi then cuts the game short. Tadano notes that Komi was very calm the whole time, and figures as such, since he expects Komi to not care if he likes her or not. However, while Tadano is not looking, Komi walks out of the room and buties her face in her hands in embarrassment, both glad that Najimi stopped Tadano from confessing but also genuinely wanting Tadano to do so.
